When Ashley Ridge Church launched in January 2010, we had reusable grocery bags made to hand-out so our new community could start by filling the food pantries in our community.  In the process, the guidance department at Ashley Ridge High School approached us about donating some food to help start a pantry for low-income students in the school, many of whom leave school at night with no anticipation of eating again until they return to school the next day.  God opened a huge door - our partnership with the school to feed students and their families was born.

Several times a year, we have food collection Sundays, however donations are always welcome.  In addition, we regularly contribute financial support to the food center for bulk food purchases and other needed items like toiletries and school supplies.  Join us in our efforts to feed kids!

Here is a list of most commonly used food items:

Pop-Tarts, Cereal Bars, Boxes of cereal (full-size and single-serving), Easy Mac, Ramen Noodles, Pasta, Spaghetti Sauce, Peanut Butter and Jelly, Pudding Cups (non-refrigerated), Honey Buns, Snack Crackers (peanut butter, cheese, etc.)
